In Search of Reindeer in the Taiga Forests
Tour Details
Journey deep into Mongolia’s northern frontier, where mist-covered pines and alpine meadows meet the tundra of Siberia. This seven-day expedition traces the route to the Tsaatan reindeer herders, one of Mongolia’s most remote and resilient communities. Ride on horseback through the Darkhad Valley, cross crystal streams and vast forests, and stay in traditional teepees among the reindeer people. Share meals beside open fires, learn ancient herding customs, and witness a way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries.
