Rara Avis Travel LLC, incorporated in Mongolia, is the data controller for the information collected via this website, email correspondence, and booking workflow.
Name, email, phone, passport details for bookings, dietary and medical notes you voluntarily share, and billing information processed by Stripe or bank transfer. We do not collect card numbers directly.
To operate your booking, obtain permits, arrange insurance, and communicate with you. Medical notes are shared only with the guide team and emergency services if needed.
Booking records for seven years per Mongolian tax law. Marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the footer of any email.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. We respond within 30 days to all data subject requests.
We share data only with: Stripe for payments, Bokun for bookings, Mailchimp for marketing if you opt in, Mongolian authorities for required permits, and SOS International for medical evacuation coverage. No data is sold.
