Mongolia is an unusual honeymoon choice that rewards adventurous couples. Sunsets without crowds, nights under more stars than you have ever seen, and a slow pace that lets you actually be with each other.

Honeymoons often crowd into Bali, Maldives, Santorini. Those destinations are beautiful and also full of other honeymooners. Mongolia is the opposite: silence, space, and the kind of privacy that money normally cannot buy. For couples who want to actually hear each other, Mongolia is rare.
Day 1-2: Ulaanbaatar with dinner at Shangri-La's rooftop bar, a contemporary art gallery visit, a private spa evening at the Crystal Shisedo spa.
Day 3-5: Gobi Desert. Fly in, stay at the private Three Camel Lodge for three nights. Sunset at Flaming Cliffs with a candlelit dinner plated in the sand. A private camel ride at dawn. A two-person stargazing session with a guide-astronomer.
Day 6-9: Orkhon Valley. Four nights at Otugi, our 10-ger private camp. Horse rides to hidden waterfalls, a private throat singer performance in your ger, a traditional Khorkhog dinner, a Mongolian wedding blessing ceremony if requested.
Day 10: Return to UB, depart.
Bed turndown with local wildflower arrangements. A private couples massage at Otugi. A Mongolian felting workshop where you make something together. A named horse for each partner throughout the Orkhon portion. An engraved morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) strap as a departure gift.
We have arranged dozens of proposals in Mongolia. The winner: sunrise at the top of a Khongoryn Els sand dune with a chilled bottle of French Champagne, pre-positioned by our camel master the night before. Discretion required. Let us know in advance.
Our Mongolia Honeymoon Journey starts at 14,200 USD per person for 10 nights, all-inclusive (excluding flights). May through September. Late June and September are our most-booked months.
No spa culture. Mongolia does not have a deep spa tradition outside hotels. If your honeymoon depends on daily spa, add three nights at Shangri-La at start or end of trip.
